Petersen Landscaping is a family owned, design build company established in 1958. In addition to customized residential landscape design we emphasize the use of mature and unusual plant material. On our 10 acre facility we maintain a vast inventory of mature specimens for review. Our selection consists of shade, flowering and fruit trees as well as conifers and mature shrubs. We can also help our clients locate a specific item, should we not have it immediately available. Also, should our client have the right tree in the wrong location, we offer a highly specialized transplant service.

We maintain a ten acre holding facility in Southeastern New York, where there is a broad cross section of shade, flowering and ornamental trees, most of which exceed 6” caliper. With our contacts throughout the industry, we find that there is little that cannot be located should we not have it in our inventory.
Personally, I have been working here since I graduated in 1988. In that nearly thirty year period, we have done extensive projects from Maine to Pennsylvania. We take great pride in the policy that we will go where we must to find and install, just the right item, for every imaginable application. Also, we have developed tools and techniques that enable us to extract and install mature plant material, in the most challenging of locations.
